Job summary

Datos Insights is an insights and advisory firm delivering critical technology, regulatory, strategy, and operations insights to banks, insurers, payments providers, and investment firms. As an Advisor in our Insurance Practice, you will support senior experts, synthesize information, and develop evidence-based recommendations for clients in the insurance sector.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of carrier operations processes.
• Ability to advise senior leaders on complex business and technology problems.
• Exceptional analytical skills to research and understand topics quickly.
• Track record of developing insights new to the field.
• Ability to defend a position through data.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Project and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel 15% or more.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Datos’ senior experts as they advise clients on complex, technology-related issues.
• Research, analyze, synthesize, and compare information to fully understand a topic area and develop practical recommendations.
• Explore and identify solutions to client questions using strategic thinking and sound judgement.
• Prepare senior experts to facilitate and participate in workshops or speak at events with executive-ready materials.
• Contribute to our library of published information, including best practices and benchmarking reports.
• Drive the vendor selection process for our clients, including RFI development and vendor scripts.
• Deliver strategic consulting projects with accountability for high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Maintain proficiency in insurance industry business operations and supporting technology.
