Job summary

Lockton Affinity is seeking an Associate Business Consultant to provide strategic planning and consultative advice to clients within the Overland Park, KS territory, focusing on property and casualty insurance solutions.

You will negotiate with carriers, analyze quotes, and present coverage options while building relationships and staying current on industry trends. This full-time role requires strong time management and communication skills and the ability to work beyond standard hours.

Qualifications

• BA in business or equivalent experience.
• Property & casualty license or immediate ability to obtain.
• 4+ years in property/casualty and/or life/health insurance.
• Ability to manage a full sales territory.
• Strong consultative selling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic planning and consultative advice to clients with recommendations for changes.
• Negotiate quotes with carriers, underwriters, and wholesalers for prospective clients.
• Make outbound calls to the prospective territory and respond to inbound inquiries.
• Analyze quotes from multiple carriers to determine coverage and present solutions.
• Develop expertise in the assigned territory and stay current on industry trends.
• Meet or exceed monthly, weekly, and annual sales goals while managing time efficiently.
