Job summary

Lockton Affinity in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Account Manager to service designated client books, respond to inquiries, and support coverage installations with clients and carriers.

The role requires 3–7 years of client services experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication abilities. Travel may be required, and the position is full-time with ongoing client service responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent.
• Typically three to seven years of Client services experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Understanding industry trends and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responds to client inquiries and maintains documentation of communications and issues.
• Supports implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up account and reviewing plan details.
• Gathers exposure information, loss-run schedules, and client stratifications.
• Requests and collects quotes from carriers and audits quotes and endorsements.
• Updates policy information and ensures completeness throughout the year.
• Monitors quotes from carriers and binds coverage under direction of senior staff.
• Prepares client presentations and compiles compliance communications.
• Inputs client data into data management systems with accuracy.
