Role Description The Insurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area. This position is responsible for assisting customers with insurance policy inquiries, coverage options, and claims processes, ensuring clear explanations of products and services. The Insurance Specialist will prepare quotes, process policy changes, and support insurance brokerage activities in coordination with agency staff. Daily tasks include evaluating customer needs, recommending appropriate insurance solutions, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex issues promptly and providing a consistent, customer-focused experience.

Qualifications

• Insurance and Insurance Brokerage skills, including understanding of personal and commercial insurance products.
• Finance skills, such as basic knowledge of premiums, deductibles, and policy cost structures.
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
• Customer Service skills, including relationship building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
• Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chicago Area and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
