Job summary

Security First Bank is seeking a results-driven Senior Insurance Agent to join the growing insurance team in Rapid City, SD. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on new business development, client relations, and customized insurance solutions to grow the agency.

The ideal candidate will blend strong sales with industry expertise to deliver outstanding service while driving agency growth. Insurance licenses and related licenses are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related insurance or sales experience preferred.
• Active insurance license in the applicable state required.
• Licensure in Property & Casualty, Life & Health, or Crop Insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and maintain client relationships to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
• Assess customer insurance needs and recommend customized coverage solutions for individuals, families, and businesses.
• Promote and sell insurance products while managing policy renewals and account retention.
• Assist clients with policy updates, coverage reviews, and claims support.
• Represent the agency through networking, referrals, and community engagement while collaborating with bank and insurance partners to identify opportunities.
