Job summary

Georgia Farm Bureau is seeking a Training Agent to drive insurance sales and member growth in Roswell, GA. The role requires obtaining GA Property/Casualty and Life/Health licenses, a valid GA driver's license, and a customer-focused approach to service and cross-selling across farm, auto, homeowners, life, and banking products.

You will prospect new customers, deliver policy explanations, and maintain strong connections with home office and county offices to meet production and retention goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• GA Property & Casualty and GA Life, Accident & Sickness licenses required.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Sell various types of insurance policies for Georgia Farm Bureau and partners; includes farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental.
• Call on customers to deliver and explain policies, analyze programs, and suggest changes or changes of beneficiaries.
• Seek out new customers and develop membership by networking within the county to find prospective clients.
• Ensure policy requirements, documentation, and support services are completed.
• Inspect or re-inspect properties to assess risk and recommend actions.
• Contribute to local advertising and community engagement for GFB and GFBMIC.
