National General is hiring a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. The role targets local customers in person and by phone, supported by community outreach and outside marketing efforts.

Minimum qualifications include 0–2 years of experience and P&C licensing (preferred) or licensure within 90 days. Compensation includes a base hourly rate with uncapped monthly incentives.

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining.

Responsabilités

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
