Job summary

The Jeffrey Smith Agency of Farmers Insurance in Brighton, CO is hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Representative. You will build relationships with families and individuals, assessing coverage needs across auto, home, life, and health lines, and driving new business with an energetic, metrics-driven approach.

This role offers a base salary of $40,000 with uncapped commission (50% of all new business) and comprehensive benefits including PTO, health options, and a Monday–Friday schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Colorado P&C license or active license is required or in-process.
• Outbound prospecting and a metrics-driven work environment are expected.
• Organized, reliable and able to manage multiple client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new client relationships through outbound calls, referrals, and community engagement.
• Consult with clients on auto, home, life, and health insurance options to match coverage to their needs.
• Quote, present, and close new personal lines policies.
• Manage policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and client inquiries with accuracy and care.
• Support clients through the claims process and connect them with the right resources.
• Maintain accurate client records and follow agency workflows consistently.
• Meet monthly new business production goals and contribute to agency growth.
