Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in insurance industry, including customer service experience.
• Property and Casualty license required.
• Proven success in sales highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Sell insurance policies to prospective policy holders.
• Consistently achieve sales levels commensurate to monthly goals.
• Educate clients on policies by explaining features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies.
• Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers that often cover a variety of risks.
• Gather information from prospective clients for quotes via phone, email, or in person meetings.
• Organize and transcribe client and policy information into client management system and review files for accuracy.
• Network to seek out new clients and develop clientele by attending meetings, open houses, lunches, and real estate events.
• Follow up with clients to review information, endorse extra coverage selections, and answer questions about the policy or procedure for quoting.
• Communicate with mortgage companies and loan officers to gather necessary information about closing dates and policy holders.
