Job summary

Tom Hollandsworth – State Farm Agency is hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers a structured, goal-driven environment with paid training and licensing support. A signing bonus may be available for the right candidate.

No prior insurance experience is required, and licensing paths are supported. The position emphasizes building relationships, meeting sales goals, and providing excellent customer service within a State Farm independent contractor

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license is required or can be obtained.
• Life and Health license is required or can be obtained.
• Ability to make cold calls and set appointments.
• Excellent communication skills and client relationship-building.
• Time management and goal-oriented with a drive for success.
• CRM proficiency and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate insurance quotes and conduct consultative sales conversations.
• Close new business and follow up with leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Cross-sell additional coverage as appropriate.
• Provide prompt, accurate customer service and prospect for new opportunities.
• Set appointments and work toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.

Responsibilities include but not limited to...

• Generating insurance quotes
• Conducting consultative sales conversations
• Closing new business
• Following up with leads
• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Cross-selling additional coverage
• Providing prompt, accurate customer service
• The role also includes prospecting, appointment setting, and working toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
