Job summary

The Juris Agency in Michigan is seeking an Insurance Sales Representative to join a top State Farm agency. You will sell, market, and service insurance products to existing clients and new customers, embracing a self-driven, sales-focused approach.

Lesser experienced reps earn 28,000–30,000 base plus 15,000+ commissions; more experienced reps 31,000–36,000 with 20,000+ commissions. Training is provided and growth opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license is preferred but we will train those just getting started.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for business via telephone, texting or emailing, networking, and lead sources, including social media.
• Develop networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.
• Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve any issues.
