Dalton McCarthy Agency in Manorville, NY is seeking an Insurance Sales Rep to join a high-energy sales team. You will prospect, sell insurance to new and existing customers, and handle agency-provided internet leads. You will make a high volume of outbound calls, pursue goals, and have conversations that help people find the right coverage.

Job Description

As our Insurance Sales Rep, your day will revolve around prospecting, selling insurance to new and existing customers, working agency-provided internet leads, and answering inbound sales calls from prospects responding to direct mail. You'll need to be comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, staying focused on your goals, and having genuine conversations that help people find the right coverage.

The agency was purchased in January 2025 after its owner spent years as the operating manager. Since then, the team has built a productive, reputable agency with clear expectations, open communication, and a strong focus on supporting employees. You'll have hands-on training, warm leads, licensing assistance, and an environment where the sales team competes in a healthy way and helps one another succeed.

The base starts at $20 per hour, with bonus and commission opportunities. First-year earners in this office average $70,000 a year; top earners easily clear $100,000 here. PTO, paid holidays, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and ongoing professional development are also part of the package.

For someone who performs well and wants more responsibility, this role can eventually grow into a Sales Manager position. We'd love to meet someone who wants to build that path with us.
