Job summary

State Farm Agency in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our full-time team. No insurance experience required; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed and build trusted client relationships while offering tailored insurance and financial products.

You will develop quotes, close sales, deliver excellent service, and grow your career in a collaborative, supportive environment with a competitive base salary, commissions, PTO, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Property & Casualty license (training provided if not licensed).
• Ability to obtain Life & Health insurance license (training provided if not currently licensed).
• Strong enthusiasm and belief in the importance of insurance and financial products in people’s lives.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Proven ability to initiate contact and secure appointments, including from a cold start.

Responsibilities

• Develop insurance quotes for prospective clients, present insurance solutions, and close sales.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing follow-up and support as needed.
• Engage in proactive networking to expand referral sources and attract new business opportunities.
• Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service daily, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to achieving agency goals.
• Identify and develop new financial service opportunities with both new and existing clients.
• Actively participate in professional development and agency training sessions.
