You will use consultative selling, cross-sell to existing clients, prepare quotations, and present proposals to close sales. Strong communication and community involvement are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work.
• Active involvement in the local community.
• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Experience with a wide range of digital devices (phones, tablets, laptops).
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of the local market dynamics for business development opportunities for all product lines.
• Helps the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers.
• Cross-sells and coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers.
• Prospects for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows, and personal contacts.
• Secures new business through individual effort and established lead methods.
• Prepares quotations and applications and delivers effective presentations to close sales.
