Job summary

The Assurance Group seeks a Sales Director to provide sales leadership and coordinate training for independent agents in their down-line. The SD will also be responsible for personal sales when directed by management and will participate in strategy discussions.

Key duties include recruiting new independent contractor agents, onboarding, ongoing product training, client communication, attendance at meetings, achieving sales objectives, and performing other duties as assigned to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid life & health insurance license.
• High school diploma or undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in insurance marketing and sales is required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new independent contractor agents.
• Follow up with new agents to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding.
• Regularly train agents on products and selling tools.
• Communicate with, service and retain top level independent contractor agents.
• Attend and participate in meetings as required by management.
• Strive to meet company sales objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
