Scott Morris State Farm in Newtown, PA seeks a driven Insurance Sales Representative to develop the business by generating leads, prospecting, and closing new insurance customers. This fully in-office, sales-dominant role emphasizes building a strong pipeline, meeting production goals, and delivering superior client service.

Prior insurance experience is preferred, with licensing support provided to help you obtain Property & Casualty and Life licenses.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, insurance, or financial services preferred.
• Ability to complete required insurance licensing within established timelines.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound calls, prospecting, referrals, and consistent lead follow-up.
• Engage warm and cold prospects to identify insurance needs and sales opportunities.
• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other available insurance products, as licensed.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective customers.
• Conduct needs-based sales conversations and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Overcome objections, communicate value, and confidently ask for the sale.
• Develop referral relationships and identify new opportunities within the local community.
• Follow up consistently to convert leads into new customers.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities to expand customer relationships.
• Track daily sales activity, applications, conversions, and production goals.
• Collaborate with the agency team to support continued business growth.
