Job summary

World Insurance Associates in the United States is seeking an entry‑level Associate Producer who will learn the insurance sales and business development craft by working with experienced Producers. You'll identify new opportunities, build a sales pipeline, and participate in licensing and training programs.

Through structured mentoring and hands‑on prospecting, you will develop the skills, relationships, and technical knowledge needed to progress toward independent client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business development, sales, or professional experience.
• Strong desire to build a career in sales and risk management.
• Competitive, disciplined, and goal‑oriented mindset.
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, and handling rejection.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in‑person meetings.
• Develop and maintain a consistent prospecting strategy to build a qualified sales pipeline.
• Complete all required licensing, onboarding, producer school, and sales training programs.
• Leverage HubSpot and other sales tools to document activities, manage opportunities, and track pipeline progress.
• Shadow experienced Producers during prospect, client, and carrier meetings to gain practical industry knowledge.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients while delivering a professional and consultative sales approach.
• Learn commercial insurance, risk management, employee benefits, and related solutions offered through World's platform.
• Collaborate with mentors and internal specialists to develop client‑focused solutions.
• Achieve established activity, pipeline, and production goals throughout the program.
• Progress toward independent management of client relationships and sales opportunities.
