Job summary

Farmers District 40 in California is seeking an Agent Apprentice to launch a career in insurance sales. Base pay plus uncapped commission, paid training, and clear paths to advancement await.

You will work with an experienced agency team, develop sales skills, insurance knowledge, and client relationships while pursuing licenses and building a productive pipeline with coaching and feedback.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience or history of meeting measurable goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to obtain required licensing (P&C/Life).

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospects through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-up.
• Learn client needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify cross-selling and additional coverage opportunities.
• Manage your sales pipeline and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Work toward individual and agency production goals.
• Participate in ongoing sales coaching and insurance training.
