Job summary

Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a driven Insurance Sales Agent for the Craig County office in New Castle. You will help local families protect homes, land, and livelihoods while building an established client base.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty and Life, Health & Annuities licenses are required. Training is provided if not yet licensed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Good time management and ability to work independently are expected.
• A goal-oriented, driven-to-succeed mindset is important.
• Prior sales experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products to Craig County residents and neighbors.
• Review and service an existing book of business from day one.

Location: Craig County office in New Castle, Virginia

Your Earning Potential: No Ceiling

Average First-Year Total Compensation $52,000 – $125,000 (inclusive of base salary) Base Salary $37,000 – $52,000 (dependent upon location and established book of business)

These are real average first-year earnings across our agency network. Total compensation includes base salary, commissions and performance-based earnings, so how much you make depends on your effort and the relationships you build with members. There is no cap on what you can earn.
