Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance is looking for a driven, community-rooted Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Montross and serve Westmoreland County. You’ll help your neighbors protect their homes, land and livelihoods. Your earnings will grow with the relationships you build.

Your Earning Potential: No Ceiling

Average First-Year Total Compensation $52,000 – $125,000 (inclusive of base salary)

Base Salary $37,000 – $52,000 (dependent upon location and established book of business)

These are real average first-year earnings across our agency network. Total compensation includes base salary, commissions and performance-based earnings, so how much you make depends on your effort and the relationships you build with members. There is no cap on what you can earn.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships with community members and organizations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good time management and the ability to work independently toward your goals
• A passion for sales. Prior sales experience is helpful but not required. Your determination matters most.
• Property & Casualty and Life, Health & Annuities licenses are preferred, and we’ll support you with licensing training and materials
