Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking an Associate in Insurance & Risk Management to support enterprise P&C programs, including GL, workers’ compensation, auto, property, and more.

The role also covers surety, captive insurance, and contractual risk transfer, reporting to the Senior Manager and collaborating with operations, finance, and legal teams. The ideal candidate has a solid P&C foundation, an interest in construction, and a desire to grow into a well-rounded risk management professional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
• Professional designation (CPCU, ARM, CRIS) or active P&C license preferred; willing to pursue.
• 2–3 years in commercial insurance, risk management, surety, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of enterprise-wide P&C programs (GL, workers’ comp, auto, property, etc.).
• Support annual renewals by gathering underwriting data and evaluating options.
• Review policies and endorsements for accuracy; maintain records and COIs.
• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and loss control consultants.
• Prepare bond requests and assist with surety underwriting reviews.
• Assist captive manager with regulatory filings and financial reporting.
• Review contracts for insurance and surety requirements; ensure compliance.
