QTS Realty Trust is seeking an Insurance and Risk Management Analyst to implement insurance risk solutions for large-scale data center campus developments. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Real Estate, Legal, Finance, EHS, and Procurement to manage insurance throughout development and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Three or more years of experience with insurance and bonding in real estate and construction.
• Basic knowledge in real estate and construction insurance coverages.
• Familiarity with environmental risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational activity related to insurance and risk management for domestic and international real estate transactions and large-scale development projects.
• Track collection and renewal of certificates of insurance for all assets, customers and contracts.
• Assist with the annual renewal process for corporate policies.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance to track and manage the implementation of the bond process for the company.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute a coordinated approach to insurance management during development and operation of campus infrastructure and data center assets.
• Track contractual provisions regarding insurance, casualty, indemnification, liability limitations, and waivers of subrogation in lease agreements and contracts.
• Review insurance binders, invoices, and policies for accuracy and manage retention of policies and related documents.
• Manage completion and submission of applications and disclosures for coverages; negotiate terms; manage budgets and monitor costs; report on cost and claim trends; explore cost-saving strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, insurance laws, and emerging risks.
• Manage dashboard and executive reporting of insurance.
