The Baldwin Group seeks a Placement Manager to service client needs promptly, prepare RFPs, claim reports and renewal details, and position data for marketing efforts to explore alternative coverages.

You will maintain relationships with key underwriters, assess client needs, design coverage solutions, negotiate favorable terms, and market business to carriers across complex client profiles while staying informed on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 7+ years’ work related experience.
• Active insurance license required.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Maintain knowledge of the insurance marketplace and relationships with key underwriters.
• Assess client needs, design solutions, and negotiate with carriers for appropriate coverage.
• Market client business to carriers, including new and renewal business, for complex needs.
• Submit applications for quotes, negotiate favorable rates and terms, and prepare insurance proposals.
• Stay current on industry news, products, coverage and technology.
