Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Technical Assistant to join our growing team in North Carolina. Under the supervision of the Business Operations Leader, you will manage workflow for the Northeast Support Team and work with Brokers, Underwriters, and Assistants to resolve issues.

You will provide clerical support, assist with policy servicing inquiries, and learn the Agency Management System to save documents and generate reports. This role emphasizes confidentiality and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with Brokers, Underwriters and Underwriter Assistants via Teams/email to respond to questions, investigate and resolve issues, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to Operations Team and Underwriting Teams.
• Assist with policy servicing inquiries to include accounting, underwriting, and operations.
• Learn and work within Agency Management System to save documents, emails, and correspondence.
• Become familiar with Agency Management System reporting functionality to include running and distributing scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Answer questions about the organization’s products and services to assist in customer service functions.
• Pursue a course of personal and professional development.
