Job summary

Raymond James is seeking an Associate to support the Licensing Department with processing insurance company contracting and appointment requests, as well as state and product training for financial advisors. You will coordinate requirements, communicate with carriers and advisors, and resolve licensing issues in collaboration with the Licensing Specialist and team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin or Finance or equivalent required.
• 4+ years in annuities, life insurance, long-term care, disability income products or financial services/customer service preferred.
• Hybrid work environment and strong communication skills.
• Experience with licensing/appointment processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review contracting applications and license/appointment requests.
• Submit license and appointment requests in a timely manner.
• Enter requirements into databases and verify accuracy.
• Respond to inquiries from financial advisors about licenses and appointments.
• Follow up with advisors until licensing requirements are complete.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.
• Coordinate with carriers and the new business team on submitted cases.
