Farmers Insurance - Northwest District is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join a thriving agency in a structured mentorship program. You will work closely with a mentor agent to learn agency operations, marketing, and sales, with a path to running your own Farmers agency.

As you grow through milestones in the program, you may graduate into your own agency, bypassing typical initial capital review.

Qualifications

• Active or ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (paid by Farmers).
• Proficiency in communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and community engagement
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and referrals
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options
• Follow up on leads quickly and consistently to move prospects through the sales pipeline
• Prepare quotes, present solutions, and close sales to meet production goals
