Job summary

Hippo is seeking a Sr. Manager, Insurance Product Management (Forms & Compliance) to own the full lifecycle of the insurance forms library — from drafting and revisions to regulatory filings and retirement, across multiple states.

You’ll partner with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Underwriting to translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance, influence growth, and ensure a best‑in‑class customer experience through compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in insurance forms management, product compliance, regulatory filings, or P&C product development.
• Strong working knowledge of P&C regulatory requirements, state filing processes, and customer disclosure obligations.
• Hands-on SERFF experience and familiarity with standard homeowners policy forms (ISO HO program) and endorsement structures.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, documentation, and version-control skills.
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex regulatory language into clear business guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the forms library — drafting, revision, internal review, regulatory filing, versioning, implementation, and retirement.
• Act as primary compliance partner embedded within the Product team, advising on regulatory requirements during development, launches, and enhancements.
• Prepare and submit form filings via SERFF; manage the workflow across all active states.
• Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails for all regulatory submissions.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Product, Marketing, Operations, and QA to establish governance and documentation standards for forms management and customer communications.
