Job summary

EY's Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice seeks an experienced insurance claims Manager to lead complex recovery engagements in a consulting setting. You will advise clients on loss events, oversee teams, and coordinate with brokers, insurers, adjusters, and engineers to maximize financial recovery.

The role requires travel to client sites and in-office presence, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality engagements and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management, Insurance, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of commercial insurance claims experience.
• Experience as Property Adjuster, General Adjuster, Executive General Adjuster, Large Loss Adjuster, Complex Claims Specialist, BI Adjuster, or similar.
• Strong understanding of commercial property, BI, cyber, builder's risk, or other first-party claims.
• Experience managing large and complex losses involving multiple stakeholders.
• Professional designation CPCU/CPA/CFE/CFF.
• Strong PM and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supervising or leading teams.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours.
• Driver's license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial, economic and strategic advice to companies with complex disaster recovery and insurance claims.
• Read, summarize and advise clients on policy coverages.
• Develop claim strategies based on policy and claim type.
• Advise clients through recovery exploring all coverages.
• Track and place costs within policy parameters for claim preparation.
• Travel and presence at client sites, along with in-office presence will be required.
