Qualifications

• Identify when patient insurance has termed and any issues with insurance.
• Maintain accurate data entry and patient information.

Responsibilities

• Work to ensure that the patient's health care benefits cover the required DME equipment.
• Contact insurance companies to verify coverage levels, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses for DME coverage.
• Interact with patients as needed to resolve questions regarding coverage.
• Enter data accurately and update patient benefit information in the insurance system.
• Spend extensive time on the phone with insurance companies and/or patients.
