Qualifications

• Trial, hearing or substantive courtroom experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing an active civil-litigation caseload.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Conducting fact and legal research.
• Reviewing medical records, expert materials and damages documentation.
• Preparing witnesses and experts.
• Attending hearings, mediations and court appearances.
• Working directly with clients, insurers and opposing counsel.
• Assisting with trial preparation and, depending on experience, gaining increased trial responsibility.
• Developing litigation strategy alongside partners and senior attorneys.
