Lydecker LLP in Atlanta, GA seeks an associate attorney with 0–3 years of civil defense litigation experience. Newly licensed lawyers welcome. The position is hybrid with office in Atlanta and requires GA bar admission.

Under partner supervision, you will handle defense matters in premises liability, personal injury, and general liability. We offer mentorship, quarterly bonuses, flexible hours, and a strong benefits package including health, dental, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• GA bar license in good standing.
• JD from an ABA approved law school.
• 0–3 years civil defense litigation experience, preferably in general liability, bodily injury, premises liability, products liability, or construction defect litigation.
• Experience handling up to 13+ cases, attending/defending depositions, taking depositions, court appearances, and drafting motions/discovery; mediation/trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing and able to bill.
• Draft/review/respond to petitions/complaints, motions, and written discovery.
• Attend hearings and meetings with clients when requested.
• Prepare for and attend depositions.
• Assist with preparation for mediations and trials.
