Qualifications

• 2–7 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Georgia Bar admission required or ability to become admitted promptly.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice and case management.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active civil-litigation caseload.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct fact and legal research.
• Review medical records, expert materials and damages documentation.
• Prepare witnesses and experts for testimony.
• Attend hearings, mediations and court appearances.
• Work directly with clients, insurers and opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial preparation and potentially increased trial responsibility.
• Develop litigation strategy with partners and senior attorneys.
