Orionplacement, a California-based litigation firm, seeks a lawyer with active California Bar status and civil litigation experience. The role offers hybrid or in-office work in Irvine or San Diego, with a focus on handling civil matters from inception to resolution and coordinating strategy with senior attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• 1+ year of civil litigation experience.
• Insurance defense experience for experienced attorneys; newly licensed attorneys may be considered.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage cases, deadlines, legal strategy, discovery, pleadings, motions, and related litigation responsibilities.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies in collaboration with attorneys and clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide thoughtful, responsive legal guidance.
• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and exercise sound judgment throughout each matter.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
• Take ownership of assignments and actively contribute to favorable client outcomes.

Note
