Job summary

Presurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join the IT data analytics team. The role will involve working with underwriters, actuaries, accountants and claims personnel to support data-driven decisions and reporting.

You will learn the company's IT data interfaces, understand data architecture for insurance products, and perform data mining and governance activities to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business discipline
• Knowledge of IT concepts, IT architectures, data standards and data design/tools
• Understanding of T-SQL/SSMS fundamentals including CTEs, window functions, stored procedures and views
• Ability to trace data lineage from source systems to reporting output and validate results
• Broad knowledge of insurance products/lines of business is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical data support for underwriting and actuarial analysis of insurance programs
• Develop knowledge of data architecture and insurance lines of business
• Perform data mining and reporting to support data calls and ad hoc reporting
• Assist Senior Actuary and CFO with actuarial analyses, profitability evaluation
• Contribute to data standards best practices and collaborate with developers
