Presurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our analytics team in Troy, MI. The role combines IT data interfaces with data analytics to support underwriting, actuarial work, and reporting for insurance programs.

You will learn our IT data interfaces and collaborate with actuaries, accountants, underwriters, and claims personnel to improve data quality and drive business insights. A strong foundation in data management, SQL, and reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent expertise.
• Knowledge in IT concepts, strategies and methodologies; IT architectures and data standards; data design and tools.
• Understanding of T-SQL and SSMS fundamentals: CTEs and window functions, stored procedures and views, multi-step staging logic, and troubleshooting of joins.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical data support for underwriting and actuarial analysis.
• Develop knowledge of data architecture and lines of insurance business.
• Perform data mining and reporting to generate data calls and support actuarial and CFO analyses.
• Contribute to data standards and communicate them to software development stakeholders.
• Investigate new tools and techniques; collaborate on software evaluations.
