Job summary

State Farm agent offices are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support customers across phone, in person, text and email channels. This full-time role interacts with an insurance-focused client base and reports to the Office Manager.

On-the-job training is provided; the role requires obtaining Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses within 6 weeks. Benefits include health, dental & vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, and licensing reimbursement after

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience; 2-3 years preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses within 6 weeks.
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and Teams; CRM/eCRM experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Must be a team player and enjoy working closely with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner over the phone, in-person and through text, and email.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
• Assist customers in resolving issues and answer questions they may have about State Farm products and services.
• Actively review customer’s accounts to identify issues and opportunities.
• Contact customers to set up general and product specific meetings.
• Maintain, update and service customer accounts and policies.
• Manage weekly/monthly Sales and performance goals.
• Process payments, assist customers with billing issues and follow-up on outstanding payments.
