American Family Insurance Agency Staff is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Representative to assist insureds, clients, advisors and agencies. You will respond to inquiries, process policy changes and billing questions, and strive for complete customer satisfaction.

The role involves handling multi-channel communications (phone, email, chat) and applying knowledge to offer accurate solutions. A proactive, service‑oriented mindset and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer-driven solutions in service or contact center roles.
• Basic arithmetic understanding including percentages and averages.
• Proven customer service experience across channels (phone, email, chat, in-person).
• Ability to guide customers to resolution, taking ownership when needed.
• If unlicensed, provide pre-licensing proof for resident state.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer interactions regarding billing, policy coverage, and policy changes via phone, email, e-form, chat, or social media.
• Accepts ownership of requests and provides thorough service to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Empowered to take risks and make exception decisions after review for appropriateness.

• Learns and applies process improvement concepts in day-to-day work and suggests changes.
