Origin Bancorp in Louisiana seeks an Insurance CSR to support the CSR team, ensuring accurate policy documents, timely processing, and responsive service to insureds, CPAs, and mortgagees. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a property and casualty license. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or higher.
• Property and casualty insurance license preferred.
• Ability to learn personal insurance terminology and coverage forms.

Responsibilities

• Daily production and delivery of Proof of Insurance ID Cards.
• Providing policy declaration pages to insured, CPA, mortgagee, etc.
• Policy processing – compare policy received from insurer to prior policy at renewal.
• Update EPIC as needed.
• Process endorsements, reinstatements, and renewal quotes in a timely manner.
• Produce and process policy cancellations timely.
• Assist with customer calls for non-coverage issues or questions.
• Complete and process company payments online and in EPIC for direct bill/sweep transactions.
• Assist CSR’s and process mail as requested.
