The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Property & Casualty Insurance practice in Miami, Florida. The role focuses on sophisticated insurance coverage disputes, including bad-faith matters, within a collaborative, client-service oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing, required.
• 3–6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Substantive experience handling bad-faith insurance matters
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance coverage and bad-faith issues
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Represent insurers and other clients in complex insurance coverage litigation
• Analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, exclusions, and applicable case law
• Handle bad-faith claims and related insurance disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses regarding coverage and bad-faith issues
• Manage matters efficiently while meeting court, client, and internal deadlines
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments, strategy, risk, and recommended next steps
• Collaborate with partners, associates, clients, and other professionals to develop effective litigation strategies
• Contribute to a service-oriented team environment that values drive, responsiveness, and high-quality work
