Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney for their Charlotte, NC office. The role involves hands-on experience in civil litigation, offering opportunities for direct client contact and potential remote/hybrid options after training.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a Juris Doctorate. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a commitment to diversity and employee support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of insurance coverage litigation or relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice law in North or South Carolina.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication.
• Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
