Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Mt. Pleasant, SC seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to handle all phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial with direct client contact. Remote/hybrid options may be available after training.

The role requires 3–5 years of insurance coverage litigation experience, NC/SC bar license, outstanding communication and organization, and proficiency with MS Office. Education: JD; Certifications: SC/NC bar.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required; Bar license in NC/SC.
• Licensed to practice law in North or South Carolina.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
