BCG Attorney Search in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to handle civil litigation from inception through trial, with direct client contact. Remote/hybrid options may follow after training.

Qualifications include 3–5 years of insurance coverage litigation or related experience, a JD, and bar licensure in North or South Carolina. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to develop action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
