Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney in Greenville, SC. The role involves hands-on civil litigation from inception to trial with direct client contact.

Remote/hybrid options may be available after training. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, be licensed in NC or SC, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of insurance coverage litigation or relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or South Carolina.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication.
• Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
