The position is hybrid in Los Angeles, offers a competitive base salary and a bonus program, and requires California bar admission and strong drafting and research abilities.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
• 3+ years of substantive Civil litigation experience
• Experience analyzing insurance policies and coverage issues preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong drafting skills for pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and memos

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions, recommendations, and advice for insurer clients
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers
• Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision
