Job summary

ORIX Corporation USA is seeking an Insurance Compliance Associate Director to lead compliance operations across a commercial loan servicing portfolio. You will drive risk mitigation, develop scalable processes, and partner with servicing, risk, and legal teams to ensure adherence to investor and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex insurance standards into efficient workflows while guiding audits and remediation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in commercial insurance, loan servicing, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of insurance coverages (Property, General Liability, Auto, Crime, Flood, Wind/Storm, Earthquake).
• Proven ability to manage portfolio risk and ensure compliance with servicing standards and regulatory expectations.
• Experience leading audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead team execution, allocate resources, and meet SLAs and performance metrics.
• Establish KPIs, quality controls, and reporting for audit readiness.
• Delegate to direct reports with clear accountability and support.
• Oversee portfolio risk management and escalation handling.
• Lead lender/investor audits, including remediation activities.
• Manage insurance compliance for portfolios with investor requirements (Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA/HUD).
• Develop policies, procedures, and operating models for scalability and efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and automation with IT/product teams.
• Conduct training for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to the team.
