POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Contact the payer to review denied or appealed claims to secure payment. Independently interact with federal, state, third-party payers, agencies and outside related vendors.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A high school graduate or equivalent is required. A minimum of (2) years’ experience in hospital or physician billing, administration, collections and/or auditing is required. Must have knowledge of Texas Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial insurance programs. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
