Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Services Manager in the Chicago area to lead a team delivering high-quality client service and advocacy across insurance solutions. The role emphasizes relationship building, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration with Producers and Account Executives.

You will coach staff, manage client service workflows, and drive platform performance while expanding knowledge of carrier products and market trends.

Qualifications

• Producers License required or obtainable within 75 days of orientation.
• 2+ years of experience at the Account Manager or comparable level within an insurance agency.
• Previous management experience.
• BS/BA in business, management or related field preferred.
• CPCU, CEBE, ARM or other professional designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes client service with a focus on building personalized client relationships and advocating for clients.
• Ensures adherence to service platform procedures, improves efficiency, and maintains professional standards.
• Coaches staff and strengthens working relationships between Producers, Account Executives and service team members.
• Meets or exceeds client service platform performance metrics and uses carrier product knowledge to address client needs.
• Leads onboarding, training and development of direct reports and mentors staff.

Education

BS/BA in business, management or related field

Producer's License for Property/Casualty or Life/Health

2+ years of experience at the Account Manager or comparable level within an insurance agency

Previous management experience

CPCU, CEBE, ARM or other professional designation
