Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Corporate Insurance Claims Analyst to support workers’ compensation claims nationwide. The role starts with claim reporting, documentation, tracking, and financial reporting, with opportunities to grow into investigations, reserve analysis, settlement strategy, and claim resolution through collaboration with safety, project teams, and attorneys.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with workers’ compensation claims or laws and willingness to learn across states.
• Prior experience in claims administration, insurance, or safety fields preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with claim payments, reserves, and financial information.
• Professional and approachable in sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and report workers’ compensation claims accurately and timely.
• Collect and maintain claim documentation and follow up with parties.
• Track claim status, medical treatment, work restrictions, lost time, and return-to-work.
• Coordinate and reconcile monthly claim payments, reserves, and related financial information.
• Prepare claim and financial-impact reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in claim reviews and assist with investigations, reserve evaluations, litigation strategy, and settlement decisions.
• Maintain confidential claim records.
• Assist with other claim-related responsibilities within the Corporate Insurance Department.
