Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Corporate Insurance Claims Analyst to support the Corporate Insurance Department nationwide. The role focuses on reporting, documenting, tracking, and financial reporting of workers’ compensation claims for Clayco employees and subcontractors across the United States.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with workers’ compensation claims and laws; interest in learning state requirements.
• Prior experience in claims administration, insurance, occupational safety, workers’ compensation, finance, or related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to work with claim payments, reserves, loss runs, and other financial information.
• Professional and approachable disposition with effective communication in sensitive situations.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and report workers’ compensation claims accurately and timely.
• Collect and maintain claim documentation and follow up with internal and external parties.
• Track claim status, medical treatment, work restrictions, lost time, and return-to-work information.
• Coordinate and reconcile monthly claim payments, reserves, and related financial information.
• Prepare claim and financial-impact reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in claim reviews and assist with investigations, reserve evaluations, litigation strategy, and settlement decisions as experience grows.
• Maintain accurate and confidential claim records.
• Assist with other claim-related responsibilities within the Corporate Insurance Department.
