Old Republic Commercial Risk in Texas seeks a seasoned Claims professional to independently investigate, evaluate and resolve high-complexity Workers’ Compensation claims in line with statutes, policy provisions and company guidelines.

You will determine coverage, reserves and subrogation potential, negotiate settlements within authority and work with PMA nurses to implement return-to-work strategies while maintaining strong customer service with clients and carriers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent work experience in insurance required.
• TX experience is required.
• License required or ability to obtain license within 90 days of employment.
• Familiarity with Workers' Compensation regulations and terminology.

Mansioni

• Investigates and resolves high-complexity Workers' Compensation claims with minimal supervision.
• Determines coverage, compensability, subrogation potential and reserves with rationale.
• Negotiates settlements within authority and coordinates return-to-work plans with PMA nurses.
• Manages vendors and maintains knowledge of state-specific regulations and case law.
• Communicates clearly with clients and internal/external parties; travels <10%.
